[2021 Activewear Fashion] Tala – the New Sustainable Sports Brand You Must Try

Spread the love & Share

Having announced the opening of its two-day pop up event through Instagram on November 11, sustainable activewear brand Tala truly pulled it off. With the press event’s invitation tagline quoting “Sustainability never looked so cute”, the bar for a sustainable concept store was set high.

Located at the Protein Studios in Hackney on November 23, the event was set in a garage-like studio with a large shuttered entrance. The Grind, a chain of bars across London, had six cocktails on offer and were dishing them out of the pink truck to Tala fanatics and influencers. Vegan products filled the room, as their mission of sustainability and anti-plastic were all shared. The Vurger Co, any vegan burger lover’s paradise, prepared plant-based burgers, as they pride themselves on having 100% compostable packaging and being completely plastic free. Beverley insured this mindset was shown through all aspects of the event, with The Rabbit Hole – Vegan Salon being on hand to offer a cruelty-free pampering. Vegan bakeries Oggs and Coco Confectionary plated up some of their best treats on pink platters too

The event focused on fusing a concept with a visionary experience, and taught onlookers about plastic waste and washing sportswear. Appliance brand Smeg participated in the event by bringing its pinkest washing machine out to play, and educating consumers on preventing damage to the environment.

A Tala game machine took centre stage and housed hundreds of plastic balls, encapsulating the many numerous Tala goodies. Beverley later revealed through her Instagram that these were from a “reusable gaming company, that she had to make up herself.”

“I shop here because I was with Gracefit from the beginning, and now she has evolved into her own brand and truly believes in empowerment.” says Jessica Hall, dress launch guest.
